Oven Roasted Green Beans

1 pound green beans
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons dried minced onion
1 tablespoon salt
Pepper
1/2 juliann red bell pepper
2 tablespoons shredded Parmesan cheese

1.  Preheat oven to 425. Line a baking sheet with foil.
2.  In a mixing bowl, add the olive oil, green beans, minced garlic,  salt and pepper. Toss well.
3.  Spread the green beans out on the foiled lined baking sheet.
4.  Roast in the oven for 6 minutes,  add red bell pepper strips tossing quickly at around 6 minutes.
5.  Roast in oven for another 2 or 3 mins.
6.  Let cook slightly before serving.
   Serve Oven Roasted Garlic Green Beans as side dish with favorite meat, chicken or pork chops meal.

Peanut Buttter Granola Bars

I was recently asked to re post my recipe. My book Save Your Money, Save Your Family is now available
serves 18

1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1/3 cup honey
1 egg
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 1/2 cups rolled oats quick cooking
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
3/4 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup milk chocolate chips (optional)


1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2. Beat together peanut butter, honey, egg, vegetable oil, and vanilla blend well.
3. Mix oats, sugar and salt together and mix well.
4. Add oat mixture to peanut butter mixture mix until batter becomes sticky.
5. Stir in chocolate chips (optional)
6. Press into a 13" x 9" pan coated with cooking spray. Use a piece of wax paper to press mixture into an even layer in the pan
7. Bake 12-15 minutes. Cool completely and slice into bars. Makes 18.

Easy Creamy Fudge

* 3 cups sugar
* 1/2 cup cocoa
* 3 Tablespoons butter
* 1 Teaspoon vanilla
* 1 1/2 cup milk
* 1/2 cup walnuts
* 1/2 cup pecans
* 1/8 teaspoon salt


1. Mix salt, sugar, coca together, then all the milk.
2. Cook until mixture forms a hard ball in cold water
3. Add butter while hot.
4. Remove from heat and cool until lukewarm.
5. Add nuts.
6. Pour into greased dish and cut into squares

Peanut Butter Granola Bar Recipe

Peanut Butter Granola Bars. This recipe is fun and easy to make. Let your kids have fun making them with you.
